Irv has transferred the skilled eye/hand coordination that served him well in Dentristry into accomplished oil paintings of the human figure.  He has studied with noted Capital Region artist and teacher Frank Alexander at SUNY Albany.  Irv is also a longstanding, sustaining member of the Riverfront Artists, whose mission is to maintain a studio for all artists to study the live model.
