In Ritvik’s own words:

“I was drawn to sketching and painting very early on as a kid and loved creating watercolor paintings and pencil sketches . As a kid I took refuge in painting.

I am gifted with keen sense of observation and imagination, these gifts helped me form a relationship with my surroundings visually.

Growing up with Father who was curator of an Art museum provided ample insight to art his critique and visual literacy helped me see paintings from very early on in life. He would often pick impressionist paintings of European masters and ask me to speak about it as a kid. These conversations would later become integral part of how I looked at subject when my skill level grew.

I had an off and on relationship with art during college. I did art whenever time permitted.

For the last several years I have devoted my time learning watercolor techniques and painting subjects that interests me”
